As someone who works in the aviation industry I can tell you the all the security checks are a joke, they are only there to give Joe Public the "impression" that the Government is taking your safety seriously. I can give you many examples of where people have got things through the TSA security with no problem what so ever and even worse where unauthorized people have got access to the ramp where the aircraft are.
Let's get real folks most airport security is a joke.

There is a trade off on this. Yes, these reports could show a terrorist the holes in the system that can be exploited. However, without these reports, the airports and the government have very little incentive to fix these holes. They will be eventually discovered (just like a reporter was able to discover them) and then used.

You and I would certainly think so and so would most of the public too. But the mental midget, semi-finalists from the human race who are employed by the Federal Government or the Media don't think that way.

But it's well known that the press doesn't really have any self-induced boundaries of what to print.
The president of Russia said that they no longer needed spies in the U.S. because the U.S. media gave them all the inside intelligence they need.
I'm not for government controls on this. But it's something that they should be avoiding themselves.

the news also loves to report on pipe bombings - and then proceed to show how one is made on national TV. gotta love it.
as for the airports, the TSA is just there to catch idiots and make the public feel safer. that's it.

Yes, that is pretty stupid. That was almost as stupid as our government announcing that they were going to freeze Al Quida's assets in America. Nothing like giving the enemy time to scramble and hide their money!

but then it could be good because those airports then might think to up there security so they dont look so bad or so thers less of a chance of something happining
