unless you get a natural late growth spurt you are done. some boys/men are still growing at 19, most have slowed or stopped growth by 19. most girls, women stop growing at an even earlier age. you can try hanging from a chin up bar to stretch your spine, but don't expect more than a 1/4 inch out of that even if you do it every day. good posture, yoga can make you feel / look taller. don't buy any medicine or crap that is advertised, they are just preying on folks like you.

Only way for you to get taller is to go to the doctor and have him break your shins.
The shins will be broken, pulled about a small amount, and it will grow like that. You'll only grow MAYBE 2 inches, after repeat visits.
I would say you're done growing. It's all good man, shorter people have a balance advantage. You've got a better center of gravity, so if you get in a fight you can take them down easier and it's harder for a taller person to grab ya.

It's physically impossible to make yourself tall. By age 19, you're basically done growing unfortunately. Don't expect to be getting any taller by working out or swimming. Talk to your doctor and he/she will say the same thing. I'm 5' 6" and I think my height is perfect! Not too tall, not too short. Learn to love and live with your height. Good luck!

I hate to say this but you shot yourself in the foot here.
Going to the gym and doing strenuous exercise will stunt your growth, not make you taller. What you probably did is you went out too hard in (a) sport(s) and the muscle expansion just halted your growth.
I'd say if you went really hard in any sport when you were in your early to mid teens or even before you should talk to either your doctor or a specialist and see if this is the case. If it does come out to show that you stunted your growth there's nothing you can do about it but receive some physical therapy so that you don't do even more harm on your body.

going to the gym and swimming will help your strength not your growth. if you're 19 you are basically done growing. There is some kind of bone lengthening surgery that u can get but who knows if that works. there is no big problem with being 5' 9".

It is your genes that determine how tall you will grow. The only things you can do to affect your hight would be negative, such as experiencing malnutrition, which would STUNT your growth.
Best you can do to grow to your genetic potential is to eat healthy and get REGULAR exercise.
There are surgical options, but are expensive, painful and of limited success. Don't let anyone talk you into any kind of stretching device. They don't work.

At your age your pretty much done growing. 5'6" isn't really all that bad. Wear heels or other shoes that will have you appear taller.
