Yes! Yes! Yes! This is one small little thing we can all do to help make our world a better place and not just detroy it by never giving back. As both a mom and a teacher I feel that being a role model with stuff like this is so important. You can recycle everything here for money ... cardboard, milk cartons, newspaper, glass, aluminum, plastic, etc ...
Every year I make a big deal out of Earth Day with my students and we recycle for like 3 months. Then we use all that money to pay for our big class party at the end of the year. My son also recycles at home and he puts that money in his savings account. This has taught him much responsibility.
In answer to the question above about "who has time to recycle"? We all do. Especially now that most cities have curbside recycling programs if you don't want to cash them in yourselves. If we all did our share ... it would make a trememndous difference for the future ... and since my children and future grandchildren are just that ... it matters to me.

We recycle everything. It's just as easy to recycle as it is to throw it away.

yes, our recycling bin gets filled up 3x's faster than out trash bin
