Sorry to be blunt, but if he's man enough to get you pregnant, he needs to be man enough to stand up to his mommy. Perhaps she will give you and him the respect you deserve as adults when you start acting like adults - and the first step is to own up to your decisions. You had sex, you got pregnant, now deal. Go see her together. And if she "hits the fan", tell her "it would be nice to have your support, but if you're not willing to be there, that's too bad." And then get up and leave. If you allow yourselves to be controlled, you will be controlled. Good luck to you both.

He says"Mom, I need to tell you something. My girlfriend and I are having a baby". Just make sure that you have your plans on how you both will be able to take care of this child and support it. Most likely she will be angry if she thinks she will get stuck with it or it will cost her something. She also may be upset because she feels that both of you will be limiting your careers and education. If you two are mature enough to have a solid plan worked out I'll bet she will be supportive. After all how can you not love a new baby

As a Mom, I would want him to come to me and be honest. I certainly would not want him to tell me he has made a "mistake" as that would as that would tell me he really doesn't want this child, and has no respect for his girlfriend either. I would want him to come to me and say "Mom, I know you are going to be disappointed in me when I tell you this, and I haven't done this to hurt you or anyone else, but so and so and I have had sex and she is now pregnant, and I want to step up to the plate and be responsible".

haha we had a hard time telling our parents and we're 22 and 25. i hinted around first so it didnt sound so blunt. for a few days i was saying how weird i felt and it was probaly pms. then when i ended up missing my period i let that be known. then my mom told me to go take a test and she was prepared by then, so it wasnt as bad as just coming straight out and scaring the hell out of her. good luck!

Just tell her, she'll get over it eventually. There's no way to tell that's easy, she'll be mad at first but by the time the baby is here she'll have gotten over it and will love her grandchild.

Just come right out and tell her. She may be mad at first but she will get over it eventually, especially once her grandchild is born.
