When I was doing GCSE English not so long ago, we had to write a story about an assassin for our coursework. We had to keep it fairly simple and short, focusing mainly on setting the scene in the moments leading upto the said assassination. I ended my story with a nice cliffhanger where just as the assassin was about to make her great escape, she was shocked to find that her victim was still alive and well with a gun pointing at her face.

ok you do wizards of Oz spoof you know but does that coun for originlity..but still
yeah you could be like a new wizard o Oz story like some gil gets sent to Oz with her lile brother by accident when she has her first period 16 or something and its traumatizing and this dead beat guy working as a clown childens parties gets sent to OZ as well in full clown costume and maybe 2 more other characters and see where you can take it and they have to find out how and why they wee sent to Oz and etc..
or you coul do a story about a group of friends who get sent to hell by accident while they were sill alive and throuh vast ecapades get out alive but bing a dead person back to earth by accident and they remain like a phantom and it sarts to mess the prder of the world out when hellk's and earths boundaries break and the monsters ge loose and its all chaos..
