1. if the diameter is 12, then the square is 12 x 12
area of sq = 144
area of circle = pi r sq = 3.14 x 6 x 6=113.04

2. each revolution will move the bike one circumference forward. as the circumference is 28, divide the total distance travelled by 28. this will give you the number of revs

repeat 1 for 3

A circle = pid^2/4 = pi*12^2/4 = 36pi in^2
A square = 12^2 = 144 in^2

392/28 = 14 revolutions

A circle = pid^2/4 = pi*25/4 = 6.25pi in^2
a square = 5^2 = 25 in^2
