I am researching the topic of Sexual Deviance and have all the topics covered except one:
Specifically, I need an example of an item dealing with Sexual Deviance which was once legal, but is now illegal or at least considered EXTREMELY taboo in the U.S. for whatever reason.
This can be an item that was sold, it can be a service which was rendered (thinking more along the lines of in the medical profession), or anything else of the like. I am trying to stay away from pedofilia and prostitution which I have already covered.
I have searched the internet and havent found anything that I like, but I figured perhaps someone has seen something at an antique show, or knows of something of the sort, or even has such an item.
I appreciate the help!

I would suggest something to do with prostitution, like was there ever something like a frequent flyer or "frequent f-er" card?.. lol but kind of serious.

I saw this Law and Order SVU episode about a guy that went around poking ladies with very long hat pins. The episode was called "Pique" and I think they called it piqarism or something.

Back in the day when women weren't supposed to enjoy sex and didn't have orgasms, they used to visit their doctors for a rubbing. I can't remember what the term for it is...but basically when they got too horny and didn't know what it was, they went to the doctor to have it "taken care of"....seriously! I doubt you could find a doctor to do that these days...
