about 25-8 years ago i saw a film about a retarded man called (water or walter), what sticks out in my mind is at the end he was in a room with he's dead mother and there were loads of pidgeons flying around the room...WHAT IS THIS FILM...?

I am not sure. I have never seen it. However, there is a movie called "Walter" that is about a man with learning difficulties.
