My husband and I are going to Europe tomorrow.
And as we were sorting out our stuff, I decided to ask him for some 50 pounds to be kept with me for just-in-case stuff. He got worked up and rejected me. I felt so shocked. I stared at him in blank. He raised his voice and told me the money that he had changed is only for OUR expenses and not for anything else. I am even more stunned. I said its just for emergency. You wont know. He insisted on NOT giving me any pounds and got really worked up. I felt so cheap for asking for a mere 50 pounds and get rejected like this. I started tearing, no noise. Just plain shock. He asked me whats my problem. I felt even more lost.
I went to the room, sat there and cried. He came in and started shouting at me. I then got angry and said that I didn’t wanna go to the trip anymore. He agreed!
(all these for that??!) what is wrong with this man???
Well since he think we shouldn’t go there because of a fcuking 50 pounds, I dashed out to clear out our packed luggage. I went back to the room and weeped. (no noise, soon stopped.) then he said, “You’re unbelievable.” I exploded. I screamed hysterically. He muffled me and told me not to make him do something that I might regret. (which I don’t know what) I started banging his legs with my weak arms and he clenched his fists so that I would hit my arms with his stone-hard fists. I got bruises all over my arms now. I dare not make a noise and Im weeping quietly in the study room now. I am so sad

and BEFORE i started banging my arms at this clenched fists, remember what he said to me?
"Dont make me do something that you'll regret."
why should a man talk like this to his wife over this small issue?

NOT YOUR FAULT!! You need to have him seek anger management and marriage counseling or just leave his @$$! A man should never lay a finger on his wife and vice versa.

Sounds like a silly fight caused mostly by
the tension of packing for the trip.
50 Pounds is less than $100, and is a reasonable
'emergency` stash. - Do you have a history of
impulse purchase arguments????
As to your hurting yourself by hitting him.....
You're the one who went 'physical`,
you've got no complaint there.

no no no no no. sweety this isnt your fault at all. what you need to do is leave this man IMMEDIATELY. if he truly loved you he wouldn't be hurting you like this, and he doesnt deserve a woman as good as you. leave his a$$ and be done with it. and remember to stay strong.
