I have mcafee internet security 2007. Every so often it tells me Im Not Fully Protected. I open up the mcafee window and it says Privacy Service needs to verify its subcription. I click verify (down with piracy!) and it tells me it was successful. It still displays the message though, and still pops up. I have restarted the computer numerous times but to no provail... I tried removing it using the tools from mcafee, and reinstalling, but it didnt help.what should I do?

I just had the same exact problem with my subscription to McAfee last week. Call them up on the phone and tell them the problem they will fix it. Don't do what I did which was delete the whole thing and reorder. I had a hard time getting them to refund me my money. You could try an auto fix first from their site but it didn't work for me. Good luck!

Well of Course you wont want to change McAfee cuz u paid for it. Well there is some options call McAfee support or go to McAfee Support Site and Run the McAfee Virtual Technician, if it detects a problem it should fix it, maybe thats gonna do the trick, dont delete the McAfee technician if the file in on the desktop, Restart your computer and see if it gives the problem. If it didn't work Run The Technician again and when it asks if your problem was solved, click no continue to further support options, it will take you to a web page, click free internet chat.

You're keeping it because it's free?
Then I guess you'll be keeping the
viruses it doesn't pick up.
My Computer Guy said I had 3. :-O
So he down loaded a free trial protector
on line. Now I use ZoneAlarm Anti-virus.
