Because the star count doens't really effect them. How does it bother me down here if there are four billion or four billion and one?
But that paint, well, that could get on my clothes.

because you can not touch the stars but you can touch the wet to see if it is really wet. it just like when you go to a restaurant and they tell you the plate is hot and the first thing you do is touch the plate.
