Simple and wonderful! Anise with coffee, vanilla alone--I married into an italian family and not only is my wife scorching hot, but I get cookies....hooray...and the best sauce ever...yeah!

Grandma used to make the best Anise ones! Not at all like the ones you buy in the stores, they are gross.

Please enlighten me. My grandmother passed down the coveted 'Anisette Cookie' recipe and the only person I can get to make them is my mother in law. If I could BUY the dang things, while not as good, they would keep me from bugging her so much.
It's one of the few cookies I just can't make myself--cut out dough hates me.

I have never seen nor tried them. I just discovered biscotti, chocolate decadence at 100 calories. Love them!
