some of my friends say that thier witchcraft and thier just plain, old liars and that they curse you. Then some of my other friends say that thier not liars. Do you think fortune tellers are liars?

Most are liars, but I think that some are able tell things about a person by the way the are dressed, the way they talk, and other things. It also seems that some have a type of intuition that allows them to predict certain events. So, basically, the "real" ones are just very smart and good at figuring out things.
However, I'm not sure myself.

I would say some lie and some don't. The people who are out to sucker you and take your money will lie and tell you what you want to hear. They call themselves fortune tellers (or something similar) but they're just con artists.
But I do believe that others have the ability to tell what's going to happen and can do so through various forms of divination. I myself read cards and crystals. I have a friend who is a medium and gives extremely accurate readings. I have another friend who needs nothing to help her focus and she too gives accurate readings.

I believe there are some people in this world that can see what the future brings us. But at the same time, nothing is set in stone and we set our on destiny, As far as someone involved in what they term as witchcraft; they are trying to scare you, The mind is a powerful thing. True pagans that practice witchcraft do not curse people, it will come back on them 3 times if they do.

I think some of your friends need to become a bit more informed before making such snap decisions
Unless you have been to a qualified psychic, it is just plain ignorant to say that they are liars and that they curse you and so forth....
Your friends need to do quite a bit more research before they find the path that leads to an intelligent decision

I think the major majority are. I have no problem with telling anyone that I think that psychics (fortune tellers, whatever you choose to call them) do exist. But I remain skeptical about people who claim to have the ability. I don't think that there are many people around that can do what most claim to be able to.

So far there has not been one proven to be actually right. Many of them use very general terms or common thoughts that anyone feels that they can relate to - as different as we think we are, we are all very much the same. It basically boils down to a very good, educated guess and a bit of body language reading.

Totally! Fortune tellers are fakes, just like psychics. They hold back the progress of mankind and I wish they'd get over themselves and their need to be seen as "special". They could just as easily ride a short-yellow bus with a bunch of drooling, screaming special needs people, if that's what they want.

That depends. I know people who do tarot and they don't call themselves fortune tellers. I know people who talk to 'angels' and they DO call themselves fortune tellers. It depends on who and what you're thinking of when you ask this question. Otherwise we're not on the same wavelength here.

Yes, they are.. All of them, it's not fair on people that are looking for something.. It's funny how I have never heard a story about anyone saying anything really really bad.. They suck weak people in and make them believe that they don't have to be strong to cope with their problems cos "it's all going to be ok" .. They are vague and very careful about how they word things... Don't go to one EVER! It changes people, it changes what you might do... It messes with your head, and your dreams.. and apart from all that, who wants to know what is going to happen... If we had a script, we may as well give up now..
Instead of trying to find out what might happen, take control of your own life and decide how you want it to be and make it happen.. That is your future..

Most of them are, but I think there are some people who really do have a sort of "sixth sense". One time I went to a tarot reader, and she could tell all these details of my life that she would have no way of knowing otherwise. That was freaky. But yes, I think most of them are just out to scam people.
