here x has power -6, all power of x should be postive integer, thus, its not a polynomial

A polynomial function is one that is a sum of terms each of which is of the form c*x^k, where c is a real number or complex number and k is an integer which is not negative.

Your function has the term -4/x6 which does not fit the previous definition since the exponent k of x is -6, which is negative.

f(x)=X^5-4/X^6 is not a polynomial function with an X in the denominator.
