If you spread a thin layer of peanut butter on the fluff-to-be slice of bread, the fluff goes on with out pulling it apart. I also put a thin layer of peanut butter on the jelly-to-be slice if I'm sending sandwiches to school for the kids. Keeps the jelly from soaking through....

Here is my secret......
Wet your spoon with water first....
then the fluff does not stick to the spoon and it is much easier to spread....Remember to wet the spoon each time before it goes back into the jar or it will get sticky again and start tearing the bread...
Good luck!
Peace.
