Last month, her period came 1 week behind, but now it's already 8 days! We had bought a pregnancy test to see if she's positive but to no avail. It showed a single stripe meaning she's negative. How come she doesn't have her period? All she produce is whitish-like fluid...What seems to be the problem? Thanks to those who'll help.

If you are worried about her becoming pregnant don't have vaginal sex with her. Tell her she has a mouth and it wasn't put there to talk.

You know girls bodies are just like that..
This month I did a pregnancy test cos I was 10 days late.. I have done so many.. Not cos I sleep around.... I have a boyf and we are careful.. It's just just I always want to make sure "just in case"

Your cycle is supposed to be 28 days - that's an average, but mine can be anything up to 45 days, I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing, but I'm used to it now.. The only bad thing is that it is unpredictable.. But I really wouldn't worry about it, as long as she isn't suffering any discomfort then she should be fine, maybe a trip to the doctors just to make sure everything is working just as it should, but you'll prob find it's nothing.

A period can sometimes be delayed if you are a bit stressed or if you have not been eating well, or have been ill.. There are loads of reasons why it can come late..

Could be different causes. Possible pregnancy even though the test was negative. Try another in a few days to a week. Stress has a tendency to effect periods. If she is really stressed, she may spot or go longer between periods. Just give it a little more time.

First of all if you do not want a baby you or her or both should be using some kind of protection. But it sounds like it is a little to late for that now. Alot of things could be making her late. Stress, health, eating habits, etc. What she needs to do is go and see a Doctor and get checked out really good and make sure there is nothing wrong. Not to make things worse, she may be pregnant and it is to early to tell by a store bought kit. Go have a blood or a urine test done. But what ever you do get her into see a Doctor ASAP!!

Unfortunately, periods can be unpredictable and everything from the level of physical activity to diet to emotional states of well being can influence her cycle.

Get on the pill and do it now!!!

(if you can't bring yourself to buy and use condoms to protect from other things like AIDS or HERPES which is also INCURABLE and 70% of the population in YOUR AND MY AGE BRACKET HAVE IT.)

Also, take care with the pregancy test you use. Make sure it's the kind that can detect the pregnancy hormone the earliest.

Oh, AND GET ON THE PILL. I've been where you are and done that, and the added expense is WELL worth being able to live WITHOUT this kind of stress every month....or worse, learning that you're pregnant and being horribly unprepared. If you can't get it through private insurance, look up your local Planned Parenthood.

this happened to my girlfriend once, it starts off behind because of stress either the up coming holidays or some kind of factor at work or school, then it perpetuates becuase of the stress caused by being late. She was late for 3 weeks before it finaly came. I would suggest she take a trip to her gyno to get everything checked up and when she finds out there is nothing wrong, the stress will lift and it will come again. However, if you need to resort to using a pregnancy test to see if that is not an option i would suggest you stop what your doing before you end up with kids

It could be that her period has changed to a different time of month. And if she does not get her period in the next couple of weeks, go and get another pregnancy test and see what it says. But also she could be stressed out and that is why her period has not came yet

Well first off the white fluid may be a yeast infection... and women do go through a period in their lives when their period will be irregular do to stress, change of diet, or hormonal changes in her body... you said you took a test it was negative.. but just to be on the safe side go to your doctor and get a blood test just to be sure... hope everything works out.

Many things can cause a woman to cycle late - she could be sick, under too much stress, have a poor diet, or have recently changed her level of physical activity. If she hasn't gotten her period in another 3-4 days, repeat the HPT. If it's still negative, encourage her to see her doctor for follow up.

If you want a more definitive pregnancy test, take her to a doctor or clinic.

Periods can be irregular for lots of reasons. sounds like this one is stil on schedule from last month though! think about it!

If this is happeneing regularly, maybe you both need a better birth control method, or you are not ready to be having sex at all if you don't know how all the parts work!
