If you type in google.com it defaults to .co.uk
However there is an option to use the .com instead.
I tend to use the .co.uk because the results are more relevant to my geographical location.
Unless i am searching for a product I know is only available in the US

Google UK as the results can sometimes be skewed towards British sites and as a previous answerer mentioned, there's the option for UK-only search!

Oh tell me about it!! lol, isn't it terrible!?!! So much for a glorious British summer eh? What's happened to the summer? It's my favourite season too (: But, i have to say, it's looking up. The sun is shining down here in the south but ah i think i'll take that back as there's some thick black clouds lurking in the distance. (: Still....we're just have to grow to love the rain, it ain't all bad you know, and theres nothing like getting drenched from head to foot in it :)
