If they really engage more than the public why do they do so as they are more likely to be exposed and condemned than the common people !

Media hype, people are people no matter what they do for a living.
Now athletes, that may be another question.

The more fame and fortune you achieve, the more hubris sets in - and you think you're invincible. Wealthy celebrities seem to think the same moral code of conduct should not have to apply to them. What's really unfortunate is that all the media hype encourages 'copy cat' debauchery from the celebrities' fans.
Thus, you see more people living together, having children out of wedlock, binge drinking, using drugs, and behaving like morons just because "Britney does it".

probably not, they just get the media coverage that average people don't get. $$$ for the media. You would think; however, they would be more discrete.
