It just started happening today. The RPM's will go up to 3-4000 and the engine will rev very loudly but give minimal power for about 4-5 seconds and then the power kicks in slowly. It seems to happen only on gear shifts. It's an automatic 93 blazer. I think it might not be getting enough air so I'm gonna change the filter but, could it be anything else?

man if u thinke its because its not getting enough air u dont need a car. its either tranny fluid or u need to get the tranny over hald

tranny acts up and u think air filter LOL...u need a mechanic to take care of ur car cause you aint doing it...
