Probably not. Have they asked you to cash cheques for them and forward the money on. The cheques will be forgeries so you will end up sending your money to someone you have never met.

You can not trust this job offer. £10,000 a year is a very low salary well below the legal minimum wage. £10,000 a month is very very high. Have they asked you for money yet ? They will as this is a scam. Chevron Oil is a proper company, but the letters you received are not from them. Don't reply and don't send them any money or your personal details.
