Yeah.. my head of careers/english teacher told me I'd find it hard to get into uni and would never be able to pursue my wanted career path.
She inspired me to work as hard as I possibly could to get where I am now.. right where she said I'd never reach. Some teachers just have no idea of the impact they have on some peoples' lives, luckily I had the support to encourage me to try anyway, some aren't so lucky and don't have that support.

Yes, the Army Nurse instructor I had in clinicals.
I was one of the few she gave an A to, made me feel like nursing was the right job for me. That was 14 years ago and am still a nurse.

A teacher that I currently have always says, "Life's tough, get a helmet." This teacher inspires students by helping them realize that life is not idealistic and you have to fight to get what you want. He has helped many students succeed.

made sure i made the most out of every day and grabbed every opportunity there was out there - we still visit with each other every now and then when he's in town...
he's a writer now and always wandering about the country...
i only wish i would have paid more attention to everything he tried so hard to pound into my thick teenage skull without having fought as much as i did!

I was shy. I had a smart aleck English teacher who insisted that people learn. He was cool. Everyone wanted to do the work for him. Mr. Brenner.

my humanities prof in college inspired me the most. he encouraged us to learn because we are interested and not because we want to get a piece of paper or letters after our names to show people how educated we are. and it also helped that he was hilarious. lol

Yes. He taught 5th then 6th grade.
He inspired me to love reading and learning.
Interesting, but one day someone asked this sort of question. I put in his name, and his sister saw it. She contacted me, and we're now friends!
He's still alive, and I was able to thank him for all he had taught me.
