Is there something wrong with the world. When Ellen broke down on TV and said she had been wrong, it was a 'real' moment. Now there have been 'death threats' sent to both the rescue organization (one woman, really) and the family Ellen gave the dog to. Evidently lawyers are now involved and suits may be filed ... against ELLEN because she's a celebrity. What happened to SANITY in this world?

It is ridiculous and its nothing but a publicity stunt! If she really cared and loved the dog, she would do ANYTHING in her power to make her home a home for the dog. Because you are Ellen, the adoption company has to change the way they do business? give me a break!

She went against company policy and she went against the contract. Adoption company said, you are adopting this animal but you cannot give this dog to anyone else, well she did and the adoption company got the dog from who Ellen gave the dog to, there is nothing wrong with that because they made it clear that is the company policy.

Also, after taking away the dog, adoption company didn't killed the dog, they gave it to some other family. So get over it Ellen; i was so happy that we got one lesbian off the tv (aka Rosie) (gives me chills just saying her name) now we have to deal with another lesbian? come on!

It must be that time of the month!

I'm with you, the pundits are saying crocodile tears. Ellen is at an age where things like dogs being taken away make her cry. When I started perimenopause years ago dog and cat food commercials and baby diaper commercials made me cry.

I think the mutts and mom lady is playing this for what it's worth to her - pr. Not good pr , but pr.

The resuce societies sometimes can be anal and on the fringe, I know I had an experience with a cat resuce society that left me shaking my head.

If the woman had had any class to begin with she would have explained to the kids why she was taking the dog , given them an application form, not bothered with the 3 grand fee because Ellen had paid for it , looked the family over and then decided.

This way she's looking vindictive and nasty.

As for the death threats on both sides , alot of lunatics fringe wandering around on all sides of the issue.

In this case nobody wins and that's a shame.

Maybe it's a publicity stunt. You mean to tell me Ellen couldn't take the kid to the best pet shop and buy her another dog of her choice??? A cute little puppy would put a smile on any kids face. She is almost acting like she might be having a little melancolic depression.

What happened to sanity? As Lawrence Sanders wrote in one of his novels, "Love is dead, money is the new Love".

.
Novel title = The Tomorrow File; It was writen in the 70's, and it is now tomorrow.

Edit; Oh yeah, don't forget the media will milk this for all it's worth and as long as they can.
