I definitely think that if he had it all to do over again, he would not do it. It's the single biggest mistake of his presidency.

He said it was going to take at least the next ten years to get some sort of hold on that pile of fermenting feces known as the middle east and it's radical Islamic terrorists. So seeing that we are only five years into it, it's too early to tell. Hell, the libs over here in NY haven't even put up a building at the WTC site yet. It took a heck of a lot longer to clean up the mess in Europe after WW2. So in his private moments, I don't think he has any regrets for his accomplishments over there. maybe in hindsight he may be thinking he could have done some things differently, but time will tell. One thing for sure is I think it is sad that people think he is our enemy and don't think that terrorists blowing themselves up and killing innocent civilians around the world is the enemy. that's disturbing to me

Bush is as arrogant as they come. Probably the only thing he regrets is that he hasn't convinced everyone to see things his way. The fact he still seems to be gunning for Iran is proof of that. Don't expect an apology or anything like that from him I don't think he has it in him. Sometimes I honestly think he has a mental disorder. I wouldn't be surprised if In the privacy of his own home he kicks the cat or Cheney.

Of corse not Iraq got him elected. We were going into Iraq long before 9/11. Iraq is just a "legit" way of bush paying back companies like haliburton, KBR, and blackwater, you know the companies that dontaed millions of dollars to his campaign. It's really sad that he uses our tax dollars and american lives to do it.

No.

Regret would require either:
a) the ability to be introspective.
or
b) the ability to actually percieve the armed forces as a collection of citizens and not just his personal poking stick.
