I wouldn't eat lunch w/ one of my co-workers??

Don't get me wrong, I have eaten lunch with her before and I like her, but I have a screaming migraine today and didn't want to deal w/ a work related conversation. Told her I wasn't feeling well and just wanted to be alone. I over heard her on the phone telling someone "well the little snot wouldn't eat lunch with me". Do you think that makes me a "snot"?

No. Give her the what-for for calling you a snot? You're not gonna let her get away with that, are ya?

No, not at all. She's being a snot by being all huffy about it. Maybe if you catch her once your feeling better and say something like, "hey, sorry I didn't feel up to lunch you want to go on XXX?" She might feel like you were just making an excuse up because you didn't want to go with HER. If you set a date for another day, then she'll know it wasn't like that. People are pretty self centered. We get offended even when there isn't anything there to be offended by.

What a *****!!! Does she not comprehend "not feeling well"? When I get a migraine I warn ppl that I will be a real ***** for an hour until the meds kick in. I would have told her that next time I would go and show her how unpleasant lunch with a migraine sufferer can be.

Poor dear! No, that doesn't make you a 'snot' if you don't want to have lunch with an even bigger jerk!!! Tell the Bogger to get a life! Hope you feel better soon!

I think it's pretty clear who the "snot" is here, Niff.

Meantime, 4 aspirin, a tall glass of sweet tea, and a nap.
