I was attaced twice at work in Concord On in a Magna Auto parts plant....Maagna's famous Quote was....GET A LAWYER AND WE WILL JUST TAKE CARE OF THEM AND YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR MONEY..

Should Work Place Violence be Tolerated - No.
Should you slander the name of a company you plan to sue? - No, it could bite you in the butt.
You should take their advice and talk to a lawyer. bring copies of things like the police reports you filed.

Violence should be tolerated in the workplace if your workplace is a military battle ground; if you are a police officer in the field; or if your workplace is a hockey rink, football field, or boxing ring.
