I should have said this before, I am have my tonsils taken out and I'm afraid my throat will be to swollen to swallow.

Birth control pills are very small, so if you can swallow things like food and drink you will most likely be able to swallow that. Otherwise you could use one of the other methods of hormonal birth control such as the patch, the ring or the shot.

You'd be able to swallow one - prob on it's own or with food or a big drink ( you can swallow that can't you? ) The birth control pills are very small - not like paracetemol or stuff like that.

If the pill is too big to be swallowed, then grind it to a powder. That should make it easier for you.

They recently released a mint flavored dissolving type of pill. I don't remember the name of it though. Ask a doctor about it. I am sure its out there.

TRY PUTTING PILL IN BACK OF MOUTH AND DRINKING THROUGH A STRAW THATS HOW MY KIDS LEARNED TO SWALLOW PILLS.
