What is the distance as required by plumbing code:

1. between the back wall and the centerline of a toilet soil pipe?

2. for clearance on the sides of the toilet from its centerline to the side wall or obstruction?

The most easily found toilets are 12" rough-in. This is 12" from the finished wall to the center of the discharge pipe. Most codes concerning clearance are 15" from the center of the toilet to any wall or cabinet.
