During the 1980's, having been toppled by the Vietnamese forces, the Khmer Rouge, aided and abetted by the Thai military, the CIA and MI6, carried out a vicious and barbaric guerrilla war against a provisional government which was largely backed by many Cambodians. The strategy was known as 'bleeding the Vietnamese white' within the White House. Having been responsible for inflicting 1.8 million deaths, does providing support for as murderous a tyrant as Pol Pot constitute an act of evil?
