Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of school computer usage policy. You will get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and myspace can wait until you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyways?

You can use my site to unblock myspace. Right now I have a myspace proxy installed. I'm working with another script now that appears to work much better. Keep in mind... You can get in trouble at school if it's against their policies.

Usually its the server that supplies the internet to all the machines that is under control of what sites are bloked and unblocked, but if that way works then fair play!

In order to access myspace or other blocked internet content you will need to use what is called a proxy server. Basically you ask a proxy server to send you the blocked web site (like myspace), and it acts as a middleman handing the web content off to you. You can find a list of proxy servers here http://www.thesecretsurfer.com/proxy_servers.asp. You can also use a web proxy here http://www.thesecretsurfer.com/web_proxy.asp

Hopefully, your school employs techs who know what they're doing and you will be restricted to schoolwork.

Burgers anyone?
