I feel that I would be waisting my time looking for work right now and I feel it would better to wait out the recession and lay low.

Get off your butt and get out there and look for a job! Don't make excuses! People can still get hired no matter what the economy (or what you think) is going on in the economy. Geeesh! No wonder people say GenX are slackers!

Find a slacker job at least. Help your mom out instead of wasting more of her money. Also, "it would be better to lay low?" WTF kind of reasoning is that? Yeah, lay low and pop out at the last second, surprise those bosses, that'll get you a job for sure! You're just making excuses for being lazy.
