that drug addicts who are taking Heroin or coke,,,and are really trying to kick the habit ,should be given extra methadone as a reward for being clean.

No way methadone is a heroin substitute ..
the only difference with methadone is you do not pay for it and do not have to score

no because then they'll be addicted to that and then they'll have addictions all over again they shouldn't be given any drugs if you ask me they should have to find a way to get clean without depending on another drug, it just makes sense if you get off one addiction theres no need to start another one right??? and y are u so worried about it??? these people have serious problems (addictions) and your trying to get them hooked to something else.....what kind of person are you???

No, not extra methodone. If I understand it correctly, they are given the correct ammount to wean them off. Why would one want to give extra for a reward just to postpone the weaning process. The idea is to get them off, not keep them on.

I think drugs should be legalised to cut the link between drugs and crime and cut down on crime resulting from addicts desperate for money to buy corrupted drugs that will kill them faster than their addiction would.

I think the smack addicts should be put on an island with all the smack they wanted - pure as it comes - and they will sort themselves out one by one when they OD.

Forget the methodone, cos they just sell it on. Just shoot em in the head and end their troubles. Once yer on the drug slippery slope yer doomed and become a non person.
