I'm in great need to obtain this bond since I am now my grandmother's guardian/conservator. Can anyone help me?

Contact your insurance agent. They have business relations with bonding companies. The amount of the bond premium will depend on the amount of your grandmother's assets.

A conservator bond is not the easiest to get. The surety will look at your credit, financial strength and if there is an attorney that will be staying involved.

The amount of the bond is always determined by the court. You will need a copy of the court documents and then can apply though a number of surety agencies.

If you do not qualify under a standard program, there are some specialists that have hard to place programs. One of those is http://www.southcoastsurety.com

You can do a search on the web for court bonds.

Here is one of the locations to find information on these bonds: http://www.southcoastsurety.com/CourtBonds.htm
