He is doing great. I'll post here some of the bulletins she has posted.
Giant LEAPS Forward!
Wow! Things have been going so well for Kaleb. He is getting stronger and stronger each day and we are so proud and thankful. Since my last update Kaleb had his sleep study and the results were good. He is able to keep his oxygen levels up and shows no seizure like activity!!! I believe that when he goes through his sleepy periods, his brain is actually healing. I know that is what is going on. I mean he is truely doing awesome. He has been excelling in therapies! In speech therapy he is starting to swallow pretty consistently and occasionally sucks and in physical therapy he is starting to get a tiny bit of head control. He is starting to show so much personally. Last night I was playing with Kaleb's arm and he would actually lift it up and push my face away. It was cute. He would make this cute little tickle face. He looks so healthy and happy. We finally got his wheelchair/stoller and he absolutely loves it. We put him in it during the day and he just looks around. He has strated to make little baby noises also. When I hold him and talk to him he will make noises back at me.
This is truely a miracle for the boy that was supposed to be in a consistent vegatative state. AMEN! I still pray every day though... I know the God isn't finished with him yet. His first birthday will be the BIGGEST milestone that he will accomplish!
THIS NEXT ONE WAS JUST POSTED YESTERDAY
So Amazing!
Kaleb is still doing amazing! He sure is showing a lot of personality. He makes the funniest faces and seems like he is trying ti show a half-smile. He is becoming a chunker too! I've had to get rid of a lot of his clothes because he is growing out of everything. We are able to take him outside more now because the weather is finally starting to cool off down here. He loves to go out. He still has VERY LITTLE head control. We have to support his head like a newborn because he has no control over his neck muscles. He is doing better though. Give him another year and he will be doing much better. All of his therepists are so pleased to see how well he is doing. We know that he is def. seeing something. We think that maybe he sees shadows. He had a vision therepist come and she used this light board and he def responded to it. He seemed to like the color Red. He does hear something too. I put on the video called Praise Baby (it's like Baby Einstein but it is all praise and worship songs) and he turns his head in the direction the sound is coming from. He is slowy starting to swallow again and occasionally sucks. Nothing coordinated though.
His hair is starting to fill in and he is looking older each day! I can't beleive that he is turning one! WHAT A BLESSING! I have started to plan his Birthday Party and I am so excited and proud. The doctors told us that he wouldn't live to see one and now look where he is. This calls for a celebration of his life!
It has almost been six months since he was shaken. Through this we have felt EVERY emotion possible. Here we are six months later and all we can feel is Joy! I am so proud of all that Kaleb has accomplished. We still have a year and a half to see a complete recovery. I cherish every waking moment that I have with him and take NOTHING for granted. I love to hold him when he's awake and talk to him. He really is staring to talk (baby talk) back to me pretty consistently. The other day he said "mama"... I think it was by accident though but either way he still said it. Maybe someday soon he will say "dada". Josh would love that.
Thank you for all of your prayers. Please continue to pray for our little boy! Praise God for all that he has done in Kaleb's life!
Also, he looks wonderful, he is getting sooooo big

something the following seems fishy to me. I although do pray for infant Kaleb prevalent. he's an innocuous infant, that did not something to deserve this. Rebecca Saunders would have performed it, relatives, Josh and Kristi, Michael Jackson for all all of us comprehend, because no individuals were there. If Rebecca isn't shown responsible, how might want to you adult adult males sense bashing her? innocuous till shown responsible. This woman has voluntarily given up her infant care license. something with this situation does no longer upload up. I although refuse to take an aspect, because some issues with this extremely hassle me. this entire myspace element is out of control. Its tremendous in case you in basic terms enable particular relatives/friends view it, yet giving the medical institution call and your living house cope with to me feels like somewhat a lot. there are such an excellent style of sickos in this international. you do not comprehend how human beings are going to react. What about yet another mom who has had her son or daughters existence destroyed from SBS? no individual is conscious how they are going to react to at least one case being throughout, and no individual listening to their's. I although will proceed praying for Kaleb. he's such an innocuous good little boy. i wish that whomever would have performed this rots in detention middle first, and then hell. Sorry in case you do not believe what i'm asserting, yet i think this way. There are continually 2 sides to each and every tale. faster or later the reality will come out.

He's doing great. His first birthday is very soon I guess. He still has no head control, but they are really optimistic about his vision and hearing. He's responding well. Apparently it'll be a year and a half before they can expect a "full" recovery. I hope and pray everything works out for them.
