I do. I just hop on plane and go. I feel like I have more freedom because I can do whatever I want.

I have never tried it. I have always had parents or my own kids to deal with. I think I would like to try it, even though I think I might be a bit timid the first time. Reading the other answers has given me a kind of desire to give it a try!

I have driven to places here in Canada on my own. I didn't much like the experience as the long drives can be quite lonely.
As for traveling abroad, well, I can honestly say that I never have traveled alone. I have always gone with my Husband or other members of my family. I thoroughly enjoy the company of others on trips.

Yes, I like it quite a bit. But im a loner. In March I am moving to California and will drive there. Prolly take about a month to do it though. I am going from Michigan to Florida to California with a stop off at the Grand Canyon on the way.

Yes! It's great, isn't it? You can come and go as you please. You don't have to worry about somebody getting bored b/c you wanted to take an extra 2 mins to look at the books or magazines, and you don't have to wait for others to gather their bags and stuff when you need to get on or off the plane. The only time I DON'T like it is when I want to run to the bathroom and just leave my suitcase or bag behind. But the general freedom makes that worthwhile.

On occasion I do enjoy traveling alone. You can really get yourself into quite an adventure sometime because there is no one tying you down. But be careful because you are alone surrounded by strangers.

I use to. I like taking my family places that I have been that they haven't been to before though.
The thumbs down must be from someone who has screwed up so many relationships that they cannot bear the concept of others enjoying life alone or with others.

I do. I've only eveer taken a flight or train ride alone to meet someone else at the other side but it's a nice relaxing time to thing. I love driving alone

Yes, it's also fun to meet people that you know in other places, spend a day or so with them and hten move on with the rest of the trip alone.

No. I like to travel with my fiance. I would hate to travel without him. The experience would be incomplete without him.
