how do you service the oil burner in a house when you turn it on the fan part is very noisey or is there a way to fix it.

always need to change the diesel oil filters keep fuel tank always filled your heating oil company would be the best advise and the safest if the burner is working OK and you say the blower fan making noises first what kind of noise electrical motor bearing grinding rubbing smell wire burn or must likely fan blade rubbing on the cage surrounding the fan blades any case be very care full work around electric and fuel

plumber and many times your oil supplier will send someone out to fix, for a cost.
