My husband's evil ex-wife and her horrid new husband took photos of my car (a 2007) that my husband was driving to pick up my step kids. My step son said he had heard his step dad saying he was going to get photos of the back of the car but didn't know why. My assumption is it was to get my license plate # but what could someone get from that? Keep in mind these are the most litigation happy people in the world and decietful too!

She is jealous because you are happy and they aren't.
If this behavior keeps up they are only digging their own grave.

To me I would assume they want to prove to a judge that you 2 can afford a nice car. I would expect your husband pays child support, so they are going to say, if they can afford this nice new car, they can afford to pay for this and that and give us more money. You have a right to drive a nice car, and regardless of what your husband pays in child support, it only goes by HIS income, and maybe YOU can afford the car even without him... Don't worry the judge will laugh at them if your husband is paying the ordered support and giving no problems.

Yep, revenge, get the tag number to track you down, etc. Probably comes down to money. Have a lawyer ready, and remember- you are not obligated to pay his ex's bills- and he has only a limited obligation as defined in their divorce decree. Sounds like she may think she didn't get her fair share and wants to prove it; probly isn't thinking that you have a job and an income. Get a lawyer, stick together, and be prepared to fight.

They are playing mind games and they have won. They have you in a panic over something trivial. And worst of all you have involved a child in a counter intelligence way and now you have sunk to their level.
