Apparently you don't understand that the criminal justice system is a system of procedure. Pleading not guilty only serves the purpose of having that procedure continue. Also, there is the possibility of an insanity defense and/or diminished capacity if that is permitted in his jurisdiction. "Not guilty" does NOT mean "innocent."

I think Stiles is a worthless human being. What he did is unconscionable. But you have to understand if he doesn't get a "fair" hearing, he can appeal and they'd have to start all over again. It could drag out longer than the original hearing would have been if they have to retry Stiles. The lawyer Stiles has is making sure Stiles gets a "fair" trial. It's his job. Be thankful, because once Stiles is sentenced, it will be more likely to stick.

he just wants to go ahead and cost the government & tax payers about 3 million to say their eyes aren't lieing to them.

This nasty little coward has been puking since he got arrested. The cop on Nancy Grace last night said when they put him in the back of the police car he threw up and hasn't stopped vomiting since he got in jail. Funny he wasn't so tore up when he was raping a child!!!!!! Nasty b@stard

They said he would probably plead not guilty because the DA is not going to do a plea agreement with him.
