Yes - but Mama made me go to the bad candy ones anyway. You know what I make for the girls schools? I take plastic gloves and put candy corn at the fingertips then tie that with a little orange ribbon - then I fill the rest of the glove with popcorn and tie the wrist with a black ribbon. â¥

well our house is adorable, not full of gawdy decorations, we have black tool draping the porch with twinkly purple lights, plenty of cob webs and pumpkins. on halloween night we'll take out the yard cut outs i designed and painted of Jack and Sally from Nightmare before Christmas!
and we're passing out grilled hotdogs, caramal and candy apples and tons of chocolate candies ( hard candies make me nervous lol).
I'm a witch so this is the (Celtic) Pagan New Year. it's a big to do in our home! we also have a big to do for the Day of the Dead (dios de los muerto).

My brother and I knew all the neighborhood houses where we could get the good stuff. One neighbor gave each kid 50 cents (a big deal when I was a kid), so we knew where to go. My Mom always told us we were NOT to go on certain streets but we did it anyway.

big housees meant KING SIZE candies - we always hit them first- oh and once, we didnt know, but our new next door nieghbor was a dentist, and when we trick or treated them, he convinced our parents to throw away our Halloween cany and replace it with 2 servings or carrots an a glass of milk.
then he gave us toothbrushes and travel size floss and told us to use it well. ive hated dentists since then-- those EVIL people.
