After UT screwed him with the whole Chris Simms deal, I would not blame him.

Since when is Applewhite a legend? I'm sure Longhorn nation has him right up there with Vince Young and Earl Campbell.

Major Applewhite is not ready to be a head coach yet. Give him 3 more years and Mac Brown will be ready to leave UT and then Major will end up coaching the horns.

If I were Applewhite, I would stay as far away from Texas as I could. The way the horns hosed him, he should be looking for a job on one of the coasts.

I've heard that Tommy Tuberville is at the top of there list, I don't think they could take a chance on an coach with little head coaching experiance I believe one day he will be a head coach not just yet.

Hmmm...He went to Texas...Oh...I guess you mean as coach...I doubt it...Also, I think Vince Young is probably a bigger legend than Major...
