OK, I've heard some wicked stories about 'Light as a feather, stiff as a board' and I've tried it a coupke of times and it never works, it's REALLY annoying. We really concentrate and chant 'Light as a feather, stiff as a board and try and lift the person up, each of us with 2 fingers, but we just can't do it. Are we doing something wrong?

The key to this parlor trick is to have everyone in unison. Often raising and lowering your fingers in time to the chant helps (the 2 fingers together and everyone almost touching each others fingertips).
It's been a long time since I've done this or seen it done, but it's pretty cool when it works.
Edit:
Sorry all it is not a spell or anything magical. It is however psychology and just a method where everyone is "psyched up" and working in unison. Just a trick, no magic or gravity defying.

that chat is incorecct... that is a spell from the olden days.. and i mean really. old.. it does not work... the onli locical way is for all of you to thing positive.. say like.. "we are strong together" ,, or thing like that.. there is no spell to lift a person up with out strength... sorry....

Yes, you're doing something worng.
You're trying to defy the laws of nature. Gravity does not change, no matter how hard you try. No physical laws change because of wishful thinking.
