What type of advertisements? If your talking about online advertisements then I would suggest using firefox. After downloading firefox or if you already have it installed you can use add-ons that can help block online advertisements. I will give you a step by step tutorial.

Step 1.
(skip if you already have firefox)
Download and install firefox

Step 2
Go to www.firefox.com

Step 3
While at firefox.com look to the top left of the page and look for a tab that says Add-ons. Click on it

Step 4
There should be a search bar underneath the add-ons tab now. Type Adblock into that search field.

Step 5
Scroll down until you find Adblock Plus. Click on it, and on that page should be an install now button. Click that.

Step 6
Restart Firefox

Step 7
Now you have the power to block those annoying ads that you see on the internet (this only blocks certain adds. Some flash adds cannot be blocked.)

Good Luck ^_^

Advertisements are created for the sole purpose of gaining interest in the product which will result in increased sales.

Advertisements are not to be confused with actual facts about a product.

Do your own research. Ask among your network of acquaintances for anecdotal information.

Always remember that commercials are created to increase sales. Revenue is the bottom line. Period.

Don't read advertisements in the newspapers, don't watch TV, and don't look at bill boards as you're being driven along the freeways...
