i have a wireless Acces point i want it to make hotspot ?????

hey is this ur own wifi? if you want to make it hotspot u have to create a network nem and click on broadcast and leave the encryption off so others and connect to yout hotspot...

by default, any windows wireless capable machine will connect to the strongest signal it recieves (not entirely a good thing) so if you have a router WAP, anybody can connect to it.
Hot spot is just a term for an accesable WAP (usually un encrypted), that may or may not require some form of payment to use (i.e. login)
If you want to make money off this, then you get HOT SPOTTING software.

i dont know about this place. Still you better search it on a search engine. Anyways, i wouldn't go with hotspots, i dont like the system they use, i have my own business and i just use my own router and some acesspoints system to give free wi-fi. Also i have a good ISP.

If you have a DD-WRT router, install v24 beta. It has Sputnik (the best free hot spot). Enable and configure it. You can then register your hot spot on the website.

The buffalo WHR-G125 is great and is about ~$35.

if i'm not mistaken, you can get free hotspot software from T-mobile at any Starbucks.
