I drove 30 miles with 50/50 unleaded/diesel, now I've drained the tank, and refilled with diesel so it's probably 90% diesel, 10% unleaded gasoline

thanks Mr. T, I can't do anything about the engine, if it dies, it dies, but i may be able to afford a fuel filter if there is a good reason for replacing it.

I'd be more worried what the unleaded fuel did to my engine. Gas acts like a solvent, diluting the lubricity of the diesel fuel. Hopefully you haven't damaged your injector pump. Gas also explodes in a diesel engine. With any luck no internal damaged has occurred.

why did you do this?

and to answer the question, it probably won't do a thing, especially if it was just a mix of fuel for a short while.

unless the car starts to behave oddly, odds are you're fine.
