You don't sue anyone. You did it yourself.

Here's what you should do now. Find a window, preferrably one that's not made of plexiglass and that's at least 4 stories high (not much more or you risk death) and then leap through it. You will survive, and then you can sue the building, your company, and the manufacturer for not making the window idiot proof.

I hope your hiney isn't sore.
I worked in an office once that chose to lay down ceramic tile- well we had the usual rolling office chair-
I bumped my chair once and it rolled just enough so that when I went to sit i missed the whole chair and busted my rump on the tile.
I was sooo embarrassed- but it wasn't the chairs fault.

The first step would be the documentation of your fall. Did you file a workplace accident form at the time of the incident? I was asked to fill one out a decade ago, when a very similar occurance had happened to me. I also keep these forms in an emergency binder at work for my students.

I'm guessing this was in America.

They will sue for anything over there. Sadly the UK is becoming the same.

You fell off your own chair all by yourself and you want to sue someone?

Very sad, dude....

why would you sue anyone? were you seriously injured in this fall from your chair? mostly you should just seek medical expenses and any lost wages, but please don't add to the frivilous lawsuit epidemic! you probably won't get anything from anyone anyway. but if you're serious about this, contact a lawyer. they will tell you if you have a case or not.

If you can't stay in your chair, maybe you should look for a stand up job.

You could always sue your parents for giving you clumsy genes.

Or maybe it was your fault? How did the chair cause you to fall?
