I've been bluffing my way through talking the talk without ever having to walk the walk for many, many years. This is possible because I have a rather high IQ and a confident and intense personality.
On the other hand, I also have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I am very strong and fit. No doubt that plays a part in my ability to avoid ever walking the walk. Still, I would be more than willing to do a little walking if anyone ever pushed the argument that far. My belief is that I wouldn't have to walk very far to end the argument in my favor.

I totally agree with that, I've seen it so many times when a new Engineer is hired and talks all the talk in the interviews but then has no clue about the actual application or practical side
