Well, Jesus came to the Circle K one day and bought a soda. He spilled it on the dirt near the parking lot. So he called his disciple, John, who had a bloody nose. John bled on the dirt to bless it.

And Jesus's other disciple, Yovanny, poured holy dirt on the wet dirt, to dry it. Praise Jesus. Yovanny blessed the dirt, and this was the start of the Circle K revolution. Jesus commanded the creation of the Cupholder, to prevent spillage.

And so the people went out into the world and created a Cupholder, to hold a cup and prevent spillage, Praise be to Jesus. And Jesus saw that this was well.

Cupholders symbolize the open opportunities that America offers. Just as cupholders sit empty awaiting almost any beverage, cold and refreshing or warm and comforting, that we need to protect from spillage, America opens opportunity for almost any citizen, whether it is to refresh their view on life, or warm their hearts.

American cars have long had these cupholders to accomodate the needs of Americans. European and Japanese cars are finally attempting to offer this level of beverage-holding opportunity to their customers.

I agree with Michael M's answer...some vehicles have cup holders built in between the two front car seats, or some are built into the arm of the car seat...as well, some large strollers and high chairs have built in cup holders to put the baby's bottle
or drinking cups in it. And fast food restaurants have cardboard cup holders to put your drinks in them, so it is easier to carry, especially when you buy more than one drink.

Custodians.

Connotatively, wrong custodians, of culture, religion and the like. Osma could be called the cup holder of Islam.

LOL @ Seymour, that's funny because it's just as ridiculous as the rest of the Bible.
