This is what garwy does on spark notes.

I received an e-mail from a teenager saying that he had "ruined her life", he'd lured her with poetry (the sexiest thing you can do with a girl" garwy), flattery and attention, then turned on her calling her "fat, stupid and ugly", when she rejected him.

He held the sn meets at his house, and plied young girls with drink. is partner was complicit in this (why?). he had already asked another 15 year old to his house, "as soon as she was 16. - he's careful not to overtly break the law.

I challenged him and he blustered, saying she'd be a good poet if she had sex with him.

He also sent me a pornographic account of an affair he had with a 17 year old student at the college he works at.

And the nude photos.

I was horrified.

now he viciously attacks me and the girl who reported him to the eds on the sn site.

(his account was deleted, but he's back)

Was I right?

Bear in mind that the age of consent here is 16 - except for teachers where it is 18. Garwy is only an I.T. support assistant in college, I don't know if that is covered by the law.

Also, quite a few posters on sn support him, like "poets" are beyond the bounds of appropriate behaviour which covers the rest of us.

Of course you were right. What he's doing IS illegal - its grooming girls while they are underage. Contact the police before he DOES pick on someone under the age of 16 xx

He is a pervert and very dangerous! Delete anything he sends without opening it. Send it back to him. Change your e-mail address and your password to something he'll never figure out. You are absolutely right to be offended.

Absolutely right you were, I would take it further and pass the information onto the Men in Blue as well.

i would think that ,, any 55 yr. old male or female propositioning a teenager is gross and wrong and they should be in jail for it,, anyone who is old enough to possibly be your father or mother should have enough scruples to know it is wrong.at 17 the last thing i would want crawling on me would be some fat,,wrinkly old man or woman..

Yes, you should inform the police AND the college the guy works at if you know it. I find it scary the guy is working at a college! Report him!!!

WTF??? You are asking if this is "acceptible"? Uh....you do realize that soliciting sex from a minor is ILLIGAL, don't you? And you haven't contacted the police why?? Having knowlege of this sort of activity and not reporting it to the police may actually make you an accessory. Posting this sort of information on a public forum may add to your being an accessory. Perhaps you should get a clue.

of corse you were right...he is a sexual predator, and it is far from acceptable for anyone to approach underage girls/boys for sexual relationships.

he sounds like he manipulates these kids into doing things for him and he should be arrested.
