Yes because after the Japanese shunt, Alonso had to change his engine. He got a new machine for Shanghai and according to regulations, he has to carry that engine in Interlagos while the other two contenders along with Massa are going to race on new engines.

It could be. So far the only reference I've found is from a Spanish magazine and they're all making excuses in advance in case Alonso can't win the championship (highly likely).
If Alonso ran in China with a new engine he has to use the same for Brazil. That's what the regulations say. Unless he broke it and in that case he can change it but he's going to be penalized with a 10 places drop or all the way back to the end of the grid, depending on the time when the change is made.
I'm not sure if Hamilton is changing engine because he ran with a used one in China or because he didn't finish the race. Both cases give him the possibility to change without penalty.
So, it may be true. Hamilton is allowed by the regulations to change engine while Alonso can't. It may seem like Hamilton is benefited at a crucial moment in the championship but the truth is that Alonso ran with a new engine in China while Hamilton didn't and that difference probably happened many times along the year. The regulations apply to all the drivers.

Hamilton, Kimi and Felipe will all have a fresh engine for Brazil, so they can afford to run them at higher revs. Alonso is on his old engine from China. They say the difference will be about 10bhp.

Yep! It's true! Lewis will have a fresh new engine from Woking and Fernando will have to run with the same engine from China! Stupid IMO! With a new engine, Lewis will have a great advantage over Alonso!

True. That means Lewis will have an edge over Alonso. Alonso has to fight to the end if he really wants to win over Lewis!

Its true, but it wont make a difference either way. All Hamilton has to do is run a smart race, stay out of trouble and the title is his.

I think that they have to stay on the motor they have otherwise that wouldn't be fair it's just by luck if you get a new motor for this race or not but the only main advantage you could have over your opponents is how you race and your qualifying position.
