No, they have made no lifetime committment to you and therefore, have not earned the rights into your personal world. If you give out your passwords, and break up with this person, things could get ugly. I've heard alot of foul stories, so I would avoid this. There are other ways to build trust.

Kind of depends on the situation....I wouldn't of given it to my X husband simply because he was always falsely accusing me of cheating.
But my current guy, cheating isn't an issue with us, nor is jealousy or any other negative feeling; therefore I don't have a problem with him having my login info. And since we both agree that being vindictive when breaking up is childish and uncalled for I don't think the changing of the passwords will ever be an issue.

I dont see any reason not to unless you have something to hide. My husband knows my stuff and I know his. The only thing you have to becareful of is that if you guys ever break up he might change your passwords so that you can not check your own stuff. Good Luck and Becareful

It depends... are you initiating this? Or if he asking?
If he's asking, it sounds like he is insecure and paranoid about what you are "really" doing.
Not knowing information like that is called trust and a relationship needs that to be healthy.

My husband has the freedom to do as he pleases. My life is an open book for him, I have nothing to hide.
A BF is a different story.

Why would you do that? Is he asking you for it? If he is, it's a sign of insecurity. Are you offering it to him? If so, why? Do you feel you owe him something? This question can say alot about your relationship.

If you have nothing to hide, what`s the problem? My wife has open access to everything , and that`s why she trusts me so much.
