I bashed the screen in a few weeks ago and it looks like the color is bleeding all through the left side of the screen. It has progressively gotten worse and almost unusable. I can't read anything on the left side, where almost every artist, album and song is listed. I would really prefer not to buy a new iPod. What are my options here?

Sell it on eBay & use the money to get a new iPod. Sorry, but to fix it would probably cost you just as much as getting a new one.

Buy a new iPod,

Take this one back to an Apple store, see what they will charge you for a refurbished unit.

Live with it,

Live without iPod.

Face it you messed up, it's gunna cost you.
